Hacken at the Forefront of Industry Boom

Hacken Foundation has achieved visible progress for the last few months. We have already launched 2 groundbreaking projects and it is just the beginning. The industry is changing rapidly and we are very proud that Hacken leads transformations. We have become an official partner of one of the most important industry events in 2021 – the Solana Season Global Hackathon and our CEO Dyma Budorin will judge the participants within the Eastern European and CIS track. 

The highly-awaited event organized by Solana Foundation – Global Web3, DeFi, and NFT Solana Season hackathon that will take place in Geneva between 15 May and 7 June 2021. The upcoming event is a great opportunity for projects representing Eastern Europe, China, India, and Brazil to introduce themselves during the top industry occassion.

The prize fund of the hackathon is $0.4 mln while additional $0.6 mln will be distributed among projects in the form of seed financing. There will be 3 thematic tracks including DeFi, Web3, and NFT and the top 3 projects from each track will be awarded special prizes: 20,000, 10,000, and 5,000 USD in USDC-SPL respectively. Also, awards will be distributed among top projects from each geographic track but the biggest prize pool of 155,000 USD will be distributed among Eastern European projects. 

Hacken Foundation is the official partner of the hackathon with a focus on the Eastern European track. And it is a great pleasure for us that Hacken CEO Dyma Budorin will be among the judges of the hackathon. Dyma shared his expectations on the upcoming event:

About Solana Season Hackathon

Solana Season hackathon is the tournament during which projects will be assessed solely from the technological perspective and usability with regard to Solana. Judges will not consider the legal viability of the projects. The participants of the event will develop software solutions only for the purposes of the competition, no commercialization or release within the framework of the hackathon will take place. However, since the event attracts the attention of leading investors, venture capitalists, and ecosystem funds, the projects interested in building on Solana full-time will be able to compete for seed financing after the end of the hackathon.
