TRON smart contracts are written in Solidity language. Solidity is a high level, object-oriented language for smart contract development. Its syntax is similar to JavaScript. TRON smart contracts are compiled to bytecode and run on the Tron Virtual Machine (TVM). TVM has almost compatible instructions with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
